Introduction

We are updating our Privacy Policy to meet the new European protection law known as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This Privacy Notice is effective from 25rd May 2018 and replaces the procedures regarding the handling of personal data in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

This updated Policy explains how we collect and use the data , the retention and protection of your personal data and how to contact us if you are not satisfied

The scope of this Policy applies to LCCF CIC (Pagoda Nursery) and wherever else this Privacy Notice may be mentioned or referenced regardless as to how you access our services. It’s likely that we may amend this Policy from time to time. Any updated versions will be posted on this site showing the effective date.

What Do We Class As personal Information?            

This is information relating to an identifiable natural person. A person who can be identified directly or indirectly, by a name, email, location data or more specific factors relating to, including to but not limited to the physical, genetic, or social identity of a natural person.

How We Collect Your Personal Data

We will only collect your personal data when you call, or email any email addresses, or use our services. For instance, but not limited too, if you have signed up to our newsletter, requested a call from  LCCF CIC (Pagoda Nursery),  requested a call back regarding products or services. This is classed as collecting your data with your consent.

We may need to collect and process your data for Legal compliance. There may be a legitimate interest for us to collect your data which might reasonably be expected as part of running a childcare setting.

What Personal Data Do We Collect?

When using our website we will collect your name, telephone number and email address along with other details as shown on the contact form and for items relative to your items of interest. At times there may be an option for a postal address. A telephone number will be collected should you call our offices or any company personnel. Your email address will be collected with any correspondence, queries or contact sent to any of our email addresses.

There may be a requirement to file personnel contact details in your quality system. These could include queries, complaints, preferences and services you provide.

Information is also obtained by the use of cookies in your web browser (please see our Cookies Policy). This could be which pages of our website you have visited, the location of your computer and any search items you may have entered.

How We Use Your Personal Information

We use your personal data to send you details of the services you have requested, to improve our services and when necessary  provide you with personalised updates for other services that may be in your interests. We may also use it to send you marketing material. We will contact you regarding changes to your account, for updates and upgrades, amendments to our services and to provide customer services.

If the Law requires, your data may also be used to prevent safeguarding issues, health & safeguarding issues, detect any fraudulent or criminal activities and if we were requested, to submit data to law enforcing bodies or Courts.

You Choose How We Use Your Personal Information

You always have a choice as to how we collect your personal information, how we use it and communicate with you. You choose how we send material to you whether customised or not and if we send it to you or we don’t. You have the choice to receive phone calls

How Can You Access, Control or Amend Your Personal Information

As required by applicable Law, you have the right to access your personal information; to correct, amend, and request a deletion or place a restriction on how we use it.  You have the right to know what data we hold about you and we are happy to provide a copy of that data in a structured and readable format.

If any data we hold about you is incorrect, outdated or incomplete you have the right to ask us to correct and update it.  You also have the right to object to us holding your data and processing it in any way.  With this in mind you can ask us to delete it or restrict how we use it. Although this is governed by applicable laws it may restrict or impact any access you have to some of our services.

We do not sell or disclose any personal information to any third party, whether this is for marketing or advertising purposes.   However we may disclose your information within the  LCCF CIC (Pagoda Nursery) corporate entity in order to comply with any legal necessity regarding any User Agreements. Your personal information may also be shared if we are required by Law or to detect, prevent or investigate any child protection or health & safety reasons also illegal or fraudulent activity that may be related to our services.  At all times we will minimise the amount of personal information we disclose and will only share what is relevant and deemed a necessity for the purpose gained.

How Long Will We Keep Your Personal Information

We will keep your personal information for as long as deemed necessary for the purpose it was collected, to provide you with any of our services that you have requested by visiting and logging in to our website and for any other legal, policy disputes, safeguarding & health and safety reasons.
